The mission of the Flip Flop Foundation is to provide flip flops, shoes, clothing, food, health & hygiene supplies, blankets & bedsheets, school supplies, toys, sporting equipment, and other basic necessities to disadvantaged children in Zambia. Many of these children have been orphaned by the loss of one or both parents who have succumbed to AIDS.
The use of flip flops in daily life is essential not only for comfort, but also for health and sanitary reasons. The mission of the Flip Flop Foundation is also to conduct interactive educational awareness programs which demonstrate the need for footwear.
