10 years ago a group of friends got together for a spring crawfish boil. They came from all walks of life, but bonded over their love of boating and the outdoors. If you wanted to find us on the weekend – we were at the lake!
The annual crawfish boil was held on Lake Texoma and continued to grow every year. While reflecting on the 2013 crawfish boil the idea for the Flip Flop Foundation was born. In 2014 we became a formal 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
In 2014 we held four events which raised almost $40,000; in 2015 our four events raised almost $45,000. Our donation recipients include:
- The Grayson County Children’s Advocacy Center
- Kenna’s Kids
- Families for Effective Autism Treatment of North Texas
- The Gabe Carter Memorial Fund
- The family of Brian Witt
- The family of Zoey Merchant
Please join us at our events in 2016 and help us reach our goal of raising $50,000 for those in need.
